The Grouchy Cat and Word Work Freebie

This will be a quick blog, but first I have to tell you what I accidentally did last night.  So, I was blogging and looking at Facebook at the same time.  I have this habit of always doing 10 things at once.  Well, while I'm on Facebook a picture of a cat shows up.  Yes, you guessed correctly, it's the cat on here.  When I'm grouchy, my hubby says I look like that cat which knowing how I feel when I'm grouchy, I probably do.  I copied the link, sent it to him, and got back to work on the blog.

So, an hour later I am checking my comments and I have a comment from one of my new, sweet blogging friends letting me know that the link takes her to a picture of a cat on Facebook.  She's sure it's her computer acting crazy, but just in case she wanted to let me know.  Well, in my management of 10 things, I accidentally posted the link to the cat as my freebie worksheets.  I know I probably should have been horrified, but to be honest my hubby and I died laughing.  I just wish I could have seen her face as she's expecting two language arts sheets and instead has a cat in her face.  Hopefully you guys are laughing at my blunder as much as we were last night.  

Now, I mentioned a little about TPT last night, but I want to give all of you a head's up.  In the newsletter and on the boards they are asking us to not post items for free that are more than 10 pages.  I spent around 3 or 4 hours this morning updating my store.  I decided to leave the CAFE/Daily 5 stuff alone right now.  It's more than 10 pages, but it isn't in competition with anything.  Most of my other items are still there, but you don't see them.  I changed a lot of my freebies to be the previews since the majority of them were freebies for bigger packets.  In the next few days, I'm going to do my best to go through on my blog and change out links.  Until then, if a link doesn't work then click on my TPT store icon on the right and search for the main packet that aligns to the freebie.  

Last of all, I have a new two page freebie for you.  I am working on creating word work packets.  These are two of the sheets that will be in all of my packets.  Hopefully, my first packet will be ready tomorrow.  I'm going to make them for everything you can imagine.  There will be around 12 pages for each sound and then I will bundle them together.  For example, the packet I'm working on right now is diphthongs.  It will hopefully be around 50 pages when it is complete.  If you guys have any specific word work ideas that you've been wanting created, let me know and I can try to add them to my packets.  CLICK HERE if you want these two sheets.
