I think I mentioned this before, but I am on Winter Break this week. It has been great. When it comes to me, it is definitely a lethal combo of laziness and focus. The last few days have been spent on a computer pinning, blogging, Hulu, Netflix, and creating. The sad part is typically I am doing all of those thing at once. Speaking of which, someone is messaging me right now :) I have also managed to get a nap every day and stay in my pajamas most of the week. Sad, I know, but it's nice to just be able to rest.
So, since I've basically been a bear and hibernated for three days the funny stories are pretty much non-existent. I did manage to find two funny eCards that fit me perfectly. Is it sad that I have an entire board just for eCards? I do however, have a new packet and a new freebie. Here are pictures of my freebie. If you like it, you can click on the pictures and it will take you to my newest packet. Click on Download Preview on my TPT page and it will take you to the freebie.
As for the packet, it is very similar to my Valentine's Candy Heart Fun packet. However, this time I went in and made sure it was aligned to the common core standards and made tasks for each grade level. Several of the tasks can easily be moved to other grade levels to differentiate instruction. It is 61 pages of St. Patrick's Day happiness. I added some pictures below so you can get an idea of what it is like. Although it has task cards, it would be easy to run it as centers. As always, if you like it, click on the Lucky Leprechaun Math picture and it will take you to my store.
Oh, and one last thing, what are you guys needing? Tomorrow I'm planning on blogging about my favorite Dr. Seuss stuff I've found on Pinterest. Yep, I know... I just said the name that is off limits to teachers everywhere, at least when it comes to creating. However, you and I both know how much fun it is to read 50 Dr. Seuss books, do tons of cute snacks, crafts, centers, etc. So, tomorrow I am going to fill you in on what I have found. Anyway, let me know what specific skills you are needing and I will do my best to make it happen.
Hope you guys have a great night! I see responding to emails, begging for a good dinner, and creating a mini printable packet in my future.
Love your e-cards! Enjoy your winter break.

Thanks :) It's definitely been nice to relax a little :)
DeleteLove the e-cards...they are like my daily dose of funny every day :) Glad to hear someone else on winter break is spending it like I am. I haven't been out of my sweats in 3 days (different sweats, but still... ) . Enjoy the break & the rest ! :)

LOL... I'm back in pajamas today :) I am loving all this time to create! Hope you are enjoying your break, too!
DeleteI'm jealous that you have the entire week off! We only had one day which was nice. I can totally relate to the first e-card - when I have free time I'm watching TV, on Pinterest, and probably eating. For sure! :)
ReplyDeleteWe've had these week breaks for around 5 years now and they definitely come at the perfect time.
