My ALMOST Birthday Post

Today is the first day of one of my favorite weeks of the year - Birthday Week!  Is it an important one? Nope.  Do I care?  Nope.  I just love surprises, cake, and everything that goes with it!  I know it's a little overkill, but it's my parents' fault.  They ALWAYS sent balloons to school on my birthday.  It's also my Mimi's fault.  She always checked me out of school early to go to lunch and shopping for birthday gifts.  So, since they spoiled me, I have this idea that my birthday should be an all week event.  I have a special snack planned, birthday centers and worksheets (following standards of course), breakfast for my team (shhh!!!! Alicia and Pamela, don't tell the others), and cupcakes for my class.  That doesn't include my birthday dinners :)  I told you guys!  My birthday is a week long celebration!

By the way, don't you guys just LOVE my birthday cupcake that matches my blog?  I owe that to the amazing ERICA BUTLER.  She has just started making the clip art, but I love all of her stuff.

Make sure that you definitely check back on March 5 because I will DEFINITELY have a few surprises for you.  I'm thinking 3 surprises since I'll be 33.

Since I said it's a week long event, here's the first thing I have for you - new birthday worksheets!!!!  They cover the common core standards, but they have hats, presents, a cake, and all the things that make you smile on your birthday.  Click on any of the pictures to grab them.



By the way, shout out to my hubby because yesterday I made the comment that I wished I could have breakfast in bed.  Well, he read my blog, like he always does, and of course the amazing guy he is, he went and got me breakfast and brought it to me in bed.

Alright, so short blog tonight because I still have a packet to finish, Bible study to work on, and I definitely want to wash my hair tonight so my head isn't freezing in the a.m.  Seriously!  70 degree weather in January and 29 degree weather in March.  I want to know why I'm missing out on a snow day?
