Okay, I promised I'd blog about Spotify on Tuesday, but first I have to do a shout out to my hubby. Today is our eighth anniversary. Let me tell you, if you aren't married yet, it is okay because it is all worth it when you find the perfect person for you. My hubby is definitely my balance. I can be completely high strung, obsessive compulsive, and over the top one minute, and then he can make me laugh and forget every care in the world the next. He also NEVER holds me back from my dreams and completely understands why I feel the need to take care of everyone around me even though I know at times he probably thinks I need to let someone else have a turn. Oh, and to top it off, I didn't just get a hubby, I got a best friend who believe it or not, matched everything on my list (down to the blue eyes) and the funniest part is I got him because of his mom, my mother-in-law. She walked in my room as an ESL teacher my first year of teaching and told me when I was ready to get married, to let her know because I was going to marry her son. Talk about a freak out moment! I didn't date him until a year and a half after that, but what do you know, she was right. So, happy anniversary hubby of mine!
Now, for my Tuesday Technology Tidbit - How to Use Spotify. Alright, our church has Spotify and I work up in the sound booth most Sundays, so once we hit summer I decided that I needed to figure out how to use it. Girls (and guys) it is incredible! You can get it for free if you load it on a computer and for $10 a month, you can use it on your phone, iPad, or laptop and all of your playlists will be synced up. I have to tell you, I love this for my personal away from school life, but I am also looking forward to using it to make playlists at school. To me, there is nothing better than being able to make a specific playlist with only songs you like. Oh, did I leave out that feature? You won't have to worry about buying CDs anymore. You can do a Search for any artist and so far I've been able to find everything I've wanted. Plus, you can follow your friends and grab songs and song lists that they've made.
Anyway, here are my screenshots with some directions. These are just the main things you need to know to feel like you can function. If you have any questions, let me know and I'll do my best to get you an answer.
Have a sunny day!
Happy Anniversary! I love the story of how you met...so cute! I will have to check out Spotify I am excited to be your newest follower!
