Now for the name of the store. The store is Really Good Stuff. There is a link, so you can go look and see if you can guess. Oh, and just so you know, I'm not affiliated with them in any way. I just really like shopping there.
Now, for another fun idea straight from one of my favorite blogs. Five for Friday is on a break until August, so Cara Carroll (She's a pretty fantabulous first grade teacher) is hosting a Favorite Pins Friday! For the month of July, I will be posting some of my favorite pins for the week. To go check out some others, click on the image below. To go read more about each of my favorites, click on the titles. I linked them to the original posts.
Handbook Flip Book:
I'm not sure how I'm going to make this happen, but I love this idea! It is simply adorable and I think it may be easier for parents to read. I may still send home a packet, but put this in their folders so parent will be able to have a quick reference.
One Smart Cookie:
I love this idea! I do apples for my parents, so this would be cute for the kids in my classroom. It would also be a cute little snack for testing week.
Homemade Icees:
Hello! Yum! If this works, I will be making one of these tomorrow! That is all.
I am madly in love with these crazy chairs. I'm not sure what it is about them, but I love them! I will definitely be on the hunt for a few old chairs to paint and decorate. These would be a great replacement for all of the big blue chairs we use at the computers. Probably wishful thinking, but surely I could have them done by
Fruit Salsa:
Okay, I had this at Christmas and it is incredible! The pin randomly popped up again last week and now I want it (just not with an Icee). It is one of those things that you could easily eat an entire bowl by yourself without realizing no one else was eating it. I may need to add this to my weekend list.
eCards:
Reading one of these a day should be a requirement! They never fail to make me laugh.
Quotable Quotes:
Don't you love reading quotes? This is one of my favorites and it wraps all the reasons I want to teach into one.
Alright, I will be back later with LOTS of stuff!
